[bug-gnutrition] [MERGE] Make prepared SQL statements only one time each.

This merge request is for the C_Development branch.

I noticed that the sql prepared statements were being recompiled for
every parsed line. These changes reduce compilation to once per input
file. For me, these changes reduce the time needed to create the
database file from the source text files by about two thirds.

Also, this is my first time using bazaar or submitting actual code
changes to a project for review. Be warned! :D
